The most species-rich wetland in Luxembourg with 253 documented bird species (76% of Luxembourg's entire bird species). Gravel pit lakes formed since the 1940s have created an extraordinary wetland mosaic. Multiple purpose-built observation hides and platforms along two circular trails (1hr and 2hr). Wildlife photographers find common tern little ringed plover and great crested grebe breeding at close range. Large sand martin colonies. Regular osprey and marsh harrier. Over 40 dragonfly species. The Biodiversum Nature Centre provides visitor facilities and information. Free public access. Near the villages of Remerschen and Wintrange at the French-German-Luxembourg tripoint.
