Wildlife Photography Hides in Poland
Poland is one of Europe's most exciting wildlife destinations, anchored by three iconic habitats. Białowieża Forest is the last remnant of the primeval lowland forest that once covered the entire European plain — it holds free-roaming European bison, wolf, lynx and nine woodpecker species including the rare white-backed. The Biebrza Marshes are Europe's largest undrained river valley: a globally important stronghold for aquatic warbler, great snipe, moose, beaver and otter. The Bieszczady Mountains in the SE corner harbour the densest populations of brown bear, wolf and lynx in Central Europe. Fixed hides, floating hides and expert-guided tours operate across all three regions.
