Afternoon-to-dusk sessions; morning sessions also possible. 220 m uphill walk from parking (disabled access via service road). Up to 6 photographers in the dedicated photo section with open shooting window.

Hargita Mountain summit, Harghita County

Specialist lekking hide for western capercaillie on the upper Hargita Mountain. Maximum 2 photographers. Mandatory overnight in the hide — sleeping mat, -15°C sleeping bag and a small heater are provided. Active window: 15 April – 5 May only. Birds approach to 10–50 m. Enter at dusk, session ends around 10:00.
